ABS is a light yellow granular or beaded opaque resin, non-toxic, tasteless, low water absorption, with good comprehensive physical and mechanical properties, such as excellent electrical properties, wear resistance, dimensional stability, chemical resistance and surface gloss, and easy processing molding. The disadvantage is weather resistance, poor heat resistance, and flammable.
ABS plastic has the common properties of three components, A makes it resistant to chemical corrosion, heat resistance, and has a certain surface hardness, B makes it have high elasticity and toughness, S makes it have the processing and molding characteristics of thermoplastic plastics and improve electrical properties. Therefore, ABS plastic is a kind of "tough, hard and rigid" material with easy access to raw materials, good comprehensive performance, low price and wide range of uses.
