PBT plastic for connector
The connector is a bridge between signals and an indispensable component for transmitting electronic signals and power connections. The balanced physical properties and price of PBT are in line with the needs of the connector. PBT usually add 30% glass fiber blend as a connector, PBT because of mechanical properties, solvent resistance, good forming processability and low price is widely used.
PBT plastic for cooling fan
The second largest use of PBT is to use it in a cooling fan. The cooling fan is placed in a machine to rotate for a long time to help dissipate heat. It requires heat resistance, flame retardant, insulation and mechanical strength for plastic physical properties. PBT is usually applied as the outer frame of the cooling fan and the coil shaft of the fan blade in the form of 30% fiber addition.

The third purpose of PBT is to serve as a coil shaft in transformers and relays. Generally, 30% of PBT fiber is injected into the coil shaft. The physical properties required for the coil shaft include insulation, heat resistance, solder resistance, fluidity, strength, etc. The applicable materials are phenolic resin, PBT, PA6 and PET. Phenolic resin has good properties, but its formability is not as good as PBT, so PBT resin is used for products with small size and complex shape. Although PBT welding has poor heat resistance, Europe, America, Japan and other countries with high environmental awareness have a tendency to increase the use of recyclable PBT.
